Aishia Rankin, Principal

Aishia Rankin, RPA, is a Commercial Property Manager with over 15 years of experience managing office buildings in Washington, DC and the surrounding areas. She has experience working with GSA, office, and retail customers.  Aishia has proven customer service expertise and has seen a high rate of lease renewals in buildings she has managed. She began her career in Commercial Real Estate as a Concierge, coordinating customer appreciation events and managing the customer service retention program.

After her experience as a Concierge, she worked in the Tourism and Event Management industry as the Washington DC, Visitor Service Center Manager. During her tenure as the DC Visitor Center Manager, Aishia ran a customer service training program for at-risk youth. After leaving the tourism industry, she transitioned back into a real estate in a Property Administrator role. She has since worked her way up through the industry working as an Assistant Property Manager and now a Property Manager.

Aishia has experience in contract negotiation and oversight, managing maintenance personnel, annual budget preparation, financial reporting, and risk management. She has also performed project manager duties for several small turn-key tenant renovation projects.  Aishia holds a B.S. in Mass Media Communications from Bowie State University, Property Administrator and Fair Housing certificates, an RPA (Real Property Administer) Designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute and is a Licensed Property Manager.

Aisha is a member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) and BOMI Certification Inc., an organization dedicated to closing the skills gaps in property and facility management.  She has won various Customer Service Awards, exterior landscape design contests, and developed and executed an award-winning emergency preparedness training program.
